Revision

When conducting the revision of electrical/non-electrical products installed in potentially explosive areas, zones and technologies, we establish whether the means and erection of protection for the different equipment that is installed complies with the zoning category of the respective zone, as well as the requirements of the application subgroup and temperature class determined by the substance posing a hazard, i.e. whether such might constitute an ignition source at the given premises.

Ex-proof Documentation

ExVA Kft’s team undertakes the compiling of ex-proof documentation, along with the drafting and organising of summaries of measures introduced for the risk assessment and prevention of potential explosion hazards concerning given technologies and plants, doing so based on the EU ATEX 137 Directive (99/92/EC) and Joint Minister of Employment Policy and Labour/Minister of Health, Social and Family Affairs Decree 3/2003 (11 Mar) FMM-ESZCSM on the minimum occupational safety requirements of workplaces located in potentially explosive environments.

Zone Classification

Joint Minister of Employment Policy and Labour/Minister of Health, Social and Family Affairs Decree 3/2003 (11 Mar) FMM-ESZCSM requires zone classification for workplaces in potentially explosive environments, where explosive atmospheres may develop through the mixing of combustible gases, vapours, mists (aerosols) or dusts and air.

Professional Consultation

In the scope of professional consultation, ExVA Kft’s team provides assistance and technical support to design engineers, OEMs and end users in the interest of achieving full compliance with the technical standards and statutory requirements.

Issuing Expert Opinions
